Every year we try to visit a different earthship in new mexico. Earthships sustainable, off-grid, passive solar homes made from natural and recycled materials (tires, bottles). Developed by Michael Reynolds, they feature 6 principles: heating/cooling via thermal mass, solar/wind electricity, water harvesting, sewage treatment, food production, and sustainable construction.

we go for a weekend and spend lazy days around the land. We play games, watch movies, and snuggle up and connect with each other.
